When vacationing in the Lake Tahoe region, there are a number of options as far as lodging is concerned. In a vacation rental, bedrooms are private and there are often multiple bathrooms. This provides parents with an often much-needed respite from the kids at the end of a long day and having more than one bathroom can make getting ready in the morning a much shorter process.
Prices for vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe are often more affordable than hotels and resorts, especially during off season. Rental owners offer special pricing for times of the year when the crowds aren’t as plentiful, so if you have some flexibility in your travel schedule, you may indeed benefit from rental pricing. Even during busy season, owners are motivated to keep their homes full so you can catch some good rates, especially at the last minute when owners find themselves with an empty house.
