The Ridge Resorts in Lake Tahoe

Overlooking the Carson Valley and sitting – appropriately – on a ridge over the lake, The Ridge Resorts in Tahoe covers 11 lush acres that are included among the best pieces of real estate in town, offering excellent views of the beautiful Sierra Mountain range and much more. Located on Heavenly Ski Resort’s Nevada Slope and adjacent to the chair lift, it’s an ideal location for skiers seeking convenient accommodations but is also well-loved by those who come to enjoy summers in Lake Tahoe.

The resort has 302 units of varying styles including deluxe hotel rooms, junior suites, and one- and two-bedroom condominium-style units. The hotel rooms accommodate one or two people and are ideal for a couple who aren’t looking for all the perks of a suite. They include a king or queen bed, microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, small sitting area, and TV with VCR/DVD. The Junior Suites are a bit larger and can hold up to 4 guests. They also include all the amenities of the hotel rooms plus a queen sleeper sofa. The one- and two-bedroom condominium suites feature a fully-equipped kitchen with full-sized appliances including an oven and dishwasher, cooking utensils, dishes, and other kitchen necessities. The large living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa and there’s also a dining area for enjoying meals. A gas fireplace and three televisions complete the picture. The largest unit can sleep up to 6 guests.

Though guests will want to explore all Lake Tahoe has to offer, there are plenty of onsite amenities to enjoy as well. The resort offers shuttle service to the various ski areas in Lake Tahoe and to the Stateline casinos. Organized adult activities are available on the premises during most of the year. A concierge is on hand to assist with any plans with which guests might need help.

Dining at The Ridge Resorts in Tahoe includes the casual Hungry Bear Restaurant, which serves steak, seafood, pasta, and more; and The Ridge Club Deli, open for breakfast, lunch, and light dinner. In addition, the Bear Trap Bar is open in the evenings for some après ski libation and camaraderie.

Also inside the clubhouse that houses the restaurants, guests will find the Ridge Club Spa, offering an extensive menu of spa services that includes facials, massages, and a variety of additional body treatments. They are available for purchase individually or as a package, which may include 2 or more treatments. Services are available by appointment only and reservations should be made in advance of a stay at the resort, when possible.

Wedding packages are offered all year long at The Ridge Tahoe. Couples may choose an indoor or outdoor wedding and the facilities for receptions can accommodate up to 175 people. The resort can also host the rehearsal dinner or day-after brunch or breakfast. For business events, there’s an onsite Conference Center that can accommodate 10 to 125 people.
