Inn by the Lake in Lake Tahoe
Dubbed Lake Tahoe’s “Boutique Resort”, the Inn by the Lake is a popular South Lake Tahoe hotel that is especially suitable to couples looking for a cozy getaway location but also attracts families on vacation. Located across the street from the lake on Lake Tahoe Boulevard, this lodging facility is within walking distance of many restaurants, stores, a library, parks, recreation centers, attractions, and more, making it ideal for those who enjoy being on-the-go during their vacation.
Accommodations at Inn by the Lake include both guest rooms and suites. Rooms range from single queen or single king to units with two queen beds. Some have views of the lake while others do not. All are nicely decorated with simple, contemporary furnishings and painted in warm, vibrant colors. Some offer private balconies as well. Suites include the smallest Junior Suite, which contains a living area that is not separated from the bedroom, featuring a sofa bed for extra sleeping space. Both the one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites do include separate living areas and the deluxe versions also feature a Jacuzzi tub and a kitchen with full-sized appliances, stocked with utensils, dishes, silverware, and other necessities. Inn by the Lake also manages a three-bedroom lake front townhouse that is available for rent all year long. It is equipped with a direct line to the hotel’s front desk and is about a two-minute drive from the Inn.
Other room and suite amenities at Inn by the Lake include free wireless internet, television with cable and some premium channels, coffee and tea maker, hairdryer, and an iron and ironing board. Rooms that do not have kitchens include a mini refrigerator and microwave oven. All rooms at this hotel are non-smoking.
Guests who check into the Inn by the Lake are treated to lots of free amenities. These include a fitness center with a lake view and plenty of cardio and weight training equipment. Other perks include a year-round heated pool, a redwood dry sauna, 2 hours free use of bikes or snow shoes (according to season), free ski/board or bike storage, use of onsite BBQ and picnic areas, daily newspaper delivery, use of a small business center, and free parking onsite. The expansive 2,000 square-foot Inn by the Lake Event
Center can accommodate just about any business or social event including
weddings. Much of the facility has a pristine lake view which is ideal for
romantic occasions. For business clients, a small business center can be
found at the Event Center, featuring fax and copier service, internet
connections, and more. The garden areas may also be used for weddings and
other events.
