Embassy Suites in Lake Tahoe
The largest all-suite resort in Lake Tahoe, the Embassy Suites is part of the Hilton family of hotels. Walking distance from the gondola at Heavenly Ski Area, this hotel is convenient to all of Lake Tahoe’s amenities and attractions and its suite format provides visitors with more privacy and features than a normal hotel room. The Embassy Suites also touts its “green-ness” as it eagerly strives to reduce its impact on the environment by putting in place certain energy-reducing measures throughout the hotel.
Embassy Suites includes a total of 400 suites of different configurations, spread out over nine floors. A total of 375 of them are non-smoking. About two-thirds of the rooms are King Suites, which feature a king-sized bed in the separate bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living area. Queen Suites are similar but offer two queen beds in the bedroom. All King and Queen Suites include a comfortable arm chair, dining/work table with chairs, two televisions, and a lovely spacious bathroom. The Premium King and Queen Suites offer excellent views of the scenery outside the hotel. There are also a handful of Conference Suites for business meetings and a few with prime lake views. One two-bedroom, two-bath suite is also available. All units at the Embassy Suites Lake Tahoe Resort include refrigerator, microwave oven, and coffee maker. Guests are all treated to a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast every morning of their stay and an evening reception with beverages, including alcohol drinks.
